Grand River Brewery’s history is
deeply embedded in the land, waters, and
spirit of Michigan.
Our journey began nearly 20 years ago with
the birth of Cherry Creek Winery in the Irish Hills.
Along the way, we pioneered the industry as
Michigan’s very first combined
brewery, winery, and distillery.
Elevating our kitchen to even greater heights is
Chef Alex Young, a James Beard Award winner.
Under his guidance, our menu reflects a
profound love for exceptional, locally-inspired food.
We apply that exact same level of care to our brewhouse. Using traditional methods with a modern
Michigan twist, our brewers draft recipes that tell a story.
